My Vintage Guestbook is Finished!!!

I have been doing a lot of research for our wedding lately.  I wanted to figure our centerpieces, decorations, ideas for invitations, flowers, etc.  Gotta love the internet… and Pinterest of course. Well I came across another blog called Ruffled a while ago and really loved her vintage guest book idea.  I used her step-by-step process and made my own book.  It took about a day to create, but I am really pleased with how it turned out. I found my vintage book from an antique mall in Cincinnati, Ohio and I purchased my stamps, ink, and paper from Michael’s and Hobby Lobby in Columbia, Maryland.  I also have decided to make our wedding thank you cards so I bought a bottle stamp and the brown paper cards/ envelope from Hobby Lobby.  After I stamped the front of the cards with black ink, I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to add color.  We will hand write the notes inside after the wedding.

Vintage book and fancy paper for the inside (rebinding).

“Save for Photo” pages.

Pages have been sewn into the binding and the edges have been treated to look old.

First page of our guest book.

Thank you cards.
